Founded in 1977, Joe Rametta, started building with his Dad, Sam Rametta, in southern California. With a passion for building, a background in rough and finish carpentry, and a license in both plumbing and electrical trades, Joe has the necessary experience under his belt needed to make a good contractor. That on site experience coupled with an ability to manage well and communicate effectively with both clients and sub-contractors has given Joe the strong foundation needed to be one of the most respected builders in the industry. His hands-on approach to conducting business has allowed him to provide his clients and their projects with almost forty years of excellence in construction and design. Ramco only works on those projects that Mr. Rametta can become intimately involved with. As a result, his clients receive the highest quality available.
Drawn to the beautiful mountain climate and ski slopes, Joe moved his family and business to Park City in 1992. It is here that he has raised his children, grown his business, and become an active member of the community. Joe is currently acting president of the Park City Rotary Club as well as President of the Park City Area Home Builders Association. As Ramco moves into its 22nd year in Park City, they couldn’t be better prepared to offer you the keys to a successful relationship in building. Ramco’s list of satisfied clients is unblemished and serves the industry with a superb reputation.
The greatest degree of competence and the highest levels of personal service continue to be the elements that have become our stock in trade and will always set us apart. –Joe Rametta
Joe’s oldest son, Justin Rametta, has been on construction sites with his father since he was old enough to sweep a floor. Justin would enjoy working over his summer breaks as a jobsite laborer helping with every aspect of the build from framing to finish. After high school, Justin attended college at the University of Utah where in addition to studying would also work part time in a cabinet shop. After graduating from the “U” in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Justin decided to go to work for his father on a full time basis as a jobsite superintendent with the goal of one day taking over the family business.
As the economy took a turn and business slowed down, Justin started up Ramco’s in-house cabinet and furniture shop “Ramco Woodworking.” Something that was started from a passion for woodworking with the goal of expanding ways of “staying busy” has quickly grown into a business that not only services Ramco’s needs but is doing projects for other contractors and homeowners across the state!
Ramco is proud to be in its 3rd generation as a father and son owned and operated business. Over the past 37 years Ramco has evolved from a small company building simple cabins in the mountains to a multi-million dollar corporation involved in the construction of commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
However much Ramco has grown we have never lost sight of our main focus which is to provide the highest level of quality service. We are involved in a very people oriented business and are proud to be a part of the solution and not the problem. Only the highest quality materials and workmanship are used. We are people doing business with people and dedicate ourselves in assisting you in each step of the building process.
We thank you, our clients, for the privilege of being able to earn your respect and trust. We look forward to many more years of quality service.
